SPINE is made with Unreal Engine 5 and centered around cinematic gun-fu shootouts. It’s a third-person beat’em’up with a full set of PC gaming features, including a deep storyline, a unique setting, cutscenes, intriguing enemies, memorable bosses, character progression, and, most importantly, breathtaking battles with a wide array of firearms.

As the project grows, we’re looking for an Environment Art Producer to take ownership of environment art production on SPINE. Our quality bar is already high, so the task is not to fix it but to rebuild the process around it. That means moving the art team toward iterative, flexible development, strengthening production, and building art into project planning at every stage. This is a long-term, high-trust role with real ownership over how environment art gets made.

Responsibilities:

  • Own the full environment art production process, including planning, scheduling, prioritization, backlog, and the order pipeline.
  • Establish clear communication channels across art leads, the game design team, and production, and act as the final decision-making point for environment production.
  • Evaluate the current approach and decide what to reuse, what to rebuild, and where to bring in modern pipelines and practices.
  • Own environment assembly and integration, tracking asset completion, review, and integration status.
  • Maintain the existing quality bar throughout process changes.
  • Serve as the connective layer between art leads and art direction, with the authority to align and unblock senior art staff.
  • Organize the process of optimizing content to hit target performance benchmarks.

What we are looking for:

  • An art background is essential.
  • This role is for an Art Producer or Art Manager who came up through art.
  • Experience managing 3D content production.
  • Solid understanding of the art production process, level art, pipelines, and resource management.
  • Experience with iterative development and the ability to move a team toward it.
  • Strong project management, including planning, scheduling, prioritization, issue resolution, change and risk management.
  • The leadership presence and authority to guide and align senior art leads.
  • Fluent English, spoken and written.
  • Passion for games.

Will be a plus:

  • Shipped one or more games in a production role.
  • Experience setting up and optimizing art/environment content pipelines.
  • Console porting experience.
