Nekki is a game development studio, the creator of Shadow Fight Arena, Shadow Fight 3, Shadow Fight 2, 11×11, and Vector. The total number of registered users for our games exceeds 1 billion worldwide. We develop and release games for PC, consoles, and mobile platforms.

 

We are looking for a Senior Linux System Administrator to support and enlarge infrastructure of our company and our projects.

Responsibilities:

  • Ensure the continuity of project work, monitoring
  • Roll out and support Amazon AWS: EC2 virtual servers, Postgres RDS databases, EC2 load balancers
  • Work with ovh.com: dedicated servers and Proxmox hypervisors
  • Support infrastructure services within the company (teamcity, gitlab, perforce, jira, confluence, upsource)
  • Automate routine tasks
  • Help out with technical support for colleagues

What we are looking for:

  • Deep knowledge of Linux (preferably RHEL/CentOS/AlmaLinux), network stack
  • Skills in working with Proxmox VE virtualization systems, including Proxmox Backup Server
  • Experience with ELK stack and Clickhouse
  • Experience with web servers and relational databases (primarily Postgres, MySQL)
  • Skills in bash and ansible programming for automation script writing

Will be a plus:

  • Knowledge of infrastructure software: zabbix, openziti, grafana, Percona Monitoring and Management
  • Experience with git, perforce version control systems
  • Support for CI/CD systems
  • Skills in working with docker, ZFS file systems
  • Work with AWS, Akamai, Google Apps services
