Jobs requirements

Currently, we are seeking a game designer to work on a new console action project, Spine.

SPINE is made with Unreal Engine 5 and centered around cinematic gun-fu shootouts. It’s a third-person beat’em’up with a full set of PC gaming features, including a deep storyline, a unique setting, cutscenes, intriguing enemies, memorable bosses, character progression, and, most importantly, breathtaking battles with a wide array of firearms.

This project represents a new ambitious challenge for the company as it marks our first game for both PC and consoles.

For this position, we need a generalist game designer who can effectively participate in brainstorming sessions and documentation work, and is capable of prototyping features or configuring game mechanics.

Responsibilities:

  • Working on gameplay, including generating ideas for new game experiences and prototyping them;
  • Handling the technical aspects of the project, assembling mechanics using the project’s tools;
  • Writing feature documents, coordinating with other teams, and assigning tasks to UI, VFX, programmers, etc.;
  • Working with references.

What we are looking for:

  • Experience as a core gameplay designer or developing your own projects of any complexity;
  • Strong knowledge of Unreal Engine, experience with UE Blueprints, and familiarity with the Gameplay Ability System;

Will be a plus:

  • Technical background (e.g., technical education, experience as a programmer or technical game designer);
  • Portfolio of your own games or demos of any complexity;
  • Current gaming experience in action genre games.
