We are looking for a Core Game Designer to work on Ninja Party – our new PvP action game, where players compete with each other by using parkour, fighting and physics. In the future players will receive a wide opportunity to develop their own levels, rules and even mini-games by using the built-in editor.

 

The game is cross-platform – for mobile devices, PC, and consoles.

 

Our ideal candidate actively plays various online action games (e.g. Fortnite, Fall Guys, Super Smash Bros Ultimate), likes to come up with and prototype mechanics and weapons for those or similar games, and has proven experience developing such things from concept to release.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop new types of weapons and movement mechanics.
  • Develop interactive level/location elements (stage hazards).
  • Develop new game modes, improve and balance existing ones.
  • Interact with other teams that are involved in pick-up development process.
  • Organize the work of a compact team that is responsible for release of new types of weapons and interactive elements of the environment.
  • Participate in regular play-testing of the game.

What we are looking for:

  • Experience designing combat systems in action games.
  • Experience as a "feature-owner" (from concept to release with the analysis of players' reaction).
  • Rich gaming experience in multiplayer games (e.g. Fall Guys, Stumble Guys, Brawl Stars, Duck Game, Fortnite) and fighting games (e.g. Brawlhalla, Super Smash Bros.).
  • Fluent communication in Russian.

Would be a plus:

  • Experience working with Unity and its systems: Mecanim, Rigidbody.
  • C#, C/C++ programming skills.
