SPINE is made with Unreal Engine 5 and centered around cinematic gun-fu shootouts. It’s a third-person beat’em’up with a full set of PC gaming features, including a deep storyline, a unique setting, cutscenes, intriguing enemies, memorable bosses, character progression, and, most importantly, breathtaking battles with a wide array of firearms.
This project represents a new ambitious challenge for the company as it marks our first game for both PC and consoles.
Responsibilities:
- Knowledge of animation tools within Unreal Engine (Control Rig, Anim Blueprint, Motion Matching)
- In-depth understanding of the principles and setup of Control Rig and AnimGraph nodes (CCDIK, FABRIK, Two Bone IK, Orientation Warping, Stride Warping, Foot Placement, etc.)
- Experience with Metahuman animation pipelines
- Skills in setting up Locomotion in animation blueprints
- Proficiency in working with Maya. Experience with Cascadeur is a bonus
- Integration/tuning of animations into an Unreal game project
- Development and configuration of animation systems in Unreal Engine 5
What we are looking for:
- Knowledge of the animation pipeline
- Proficiency in Python
- Experience working with Unreal Engine and Maya
- Ability to write technical documentation
- Fluent communication in Russian
Will be a plus:
- At least 1 year of animation experience in any 3D package (preferably with a released project)
